Hello,
I am currently living in Ensenada, Mexico and I want to open a reading/tutoring center. I have many, many books from different subjects but I haven’t started it yet (moved at the end of August). I wonder if I need to design a curriculum from general knowledge and that way incorporate the English language. Any suggestions?

The way I feel connected with the academic world is through your blog. I have enough tools and knowledge to do something good over here.

I am going back to the USA by February to meet my newborn grandson. I would getting your book there in Cambridge, Mass.

Thanks

Maria--
It would be very reasonable to build that kind of reading curriculum (around topics or literary themes). Using those texts as the basis of the work kids would need to do with language skills (vocabulary, syntax, cohesion, structure).

good luck with the new addition.
